My Own Cubic Stone (the name refers to Sisyphus) is a project created by Marc Garin in 2009 during a sad night on a Burgundy hill.
On the 917 album I tried to find a new way to work. I decided to compose one track per day during eighteen days. I followed the same method for all the tracks, firstly in building the rhythmic part, and secondly in improvising the melodic line on my keyboard. If it sounded good, I kept the track and I finished it with some new parts, and then mastering it. Eight tracks have survived to this process.
